The Ambler Area YMCA is committed to providing a safe and fun camping experience for all children. Our ACA accredited day camp goal is to help your children grow in spirit, mind, and body while enjoying the wonders of the great outdoors. This year’s focus is offering children choices. All activities center on a weekly theme. They will have the opportunity for individual expressions and physical fitness through clubs such as arts and crafts, performing arts, movin & grovin, cooking, photography, nature, and science investigation club. All children will receive camp instructional and recreational swimming, weekly field trips, and special events.

Do you know a child with Asperger’s Syndrome or High Functioning Autism? Camp Outlook might be the perfect summer experience. Children will participate in physical fitness, camp instructional and recreational swimming, arts and crafts, and special programs. Children will spend a portion of their day mainstreamed with their age appropriate group in Camp Fantastic. See Camp Fantastic description for details of activities. Campers will build social, physical, and communication skills through specially designed programs like drama, therapeutic recreation, and hands-on science. Our Sports Camp is better than ever! Your child can enjoy sports, swimming, arts and crafts, field trips, and much more. We offer a great opportunity to have fun, meet new friends, go on field trips, and learn to play a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball, flag football, tennis, and cooperative games. Participants will receive a basic understanding of the skills and rules appropriate to each sport/activity. All play is non-competitive. Equipment provided.

What could be better than spending your summer at the Ambler Area YMCA? This camp provides children with a great way to spend some of their summer camp weeks learning about the YMCA's Core Values. Camp Value will teach children the basic skills for camping as well as focus on Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. This camp also includes arts and crafts, physical fitness, field trips, and special events.

YMCA Teen Camp is a great experience for all teens ages 12-15. Teens get the opportunity to learn new leadership skills, make new friends, and gain memories that will last a lifetime. Teen Camp goes on one field trip a week to places such as Dorney Park, White Water Rafting, Hiking, and many others.

Would you like your child to be a leader? Check out this NEW Counselor-In-Training program for your teen. Teens will learn leadership skills, with CIT’s leading younger children only under adult supervision, never being alone with children. They will have the opportunity to teach their skills and experiences with younger campers as well as learn new skills and explore new experiences.
